Katie Wallin

Katie Wallin

Founder & Executive Director

In 2020, Katie founded The Grace Foundation, building the organization from the ground up with a vision rooted in faith, accountability, and holistic wellness. She also co-founded JWC Total Site LLC in 2023, a successful site-work business, further demonstrating her entrepreneurial leadership and commitment to sustainable growth.

Katie brings both deep compassion and extensive professional experience to her role as Founder and leader of The Grace Foundation Family Transformation, Inc. Having experienced the impact of substance misuse firsthand—in her own life and within her close family—she understands the challenges of recovery on a deeply personal level. This lived experience fuels her unwavering commitment to walking alongside others as they pursue healing, restoration, and lasting life recovery.

About Me

A Georgia native, Katie has over 20 years of experience in occupational therapy and rehabilitation, as well as more than seven years of direct experience in the life-recovery field. She has also owned and operated a successful personal business, bringing strong leadership, operational insight, and real-world problem-solving skills to The Grace Foundation. With 11 years of her own recovery experience, Katie’s journey has equipped her with both empathy and credibility. She holds multiple professional credentials, including Certified Peer Specialist for Addictive Diseases (CPS-AD), Certified Peer Specialist for Mental Health (CPS-MH), and Forensic Peer Mentor (FPR) certification through the Ready for Re-Entry Program, in partnership with the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network and the Georgia Council for Recovery. Above all, Katie is passionate about advocating for whole-person wellness and empowering individuals to advocate for themselves. Her heart is to help others build sustainable, fulfilling lives that support long-term recovery. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she brings both professional wisdom and personal compassion to her peer support work. Katie firmly believes—and lives out—the truth that life recovery is real, possible for everyone, and happening every day.
