Our recovery residences provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who are appropriate to reside in a NARR level 3 life-recovery residence or receive care at an ASAM level of approximately 1-3.1, Each home is equipped with private and shared rooms, common areas for group activities, and a peaceful atmosphere conducive to life recovery.
Peer Support Services:
Provide support and encouragement through lived experience, while advocating for peers and empowering self advocation.
Life Skills Development:
Workshops, daily practices, and daily activities that teach essential skills such as budgeting, cooking, time management, and job readiness, empowering residents for independent living.
Wellness Programs:
Incorporating physical activity into daily life, including access to gym equipment, hiking, kayaking, or other exercise options to support mental, spiritual, and physical health.
Healthy Eating and Nutrition Classes:
Partnering with the Foodbank of Northeast Georgia, we educate residents on the importance of healthy eating habits and teach practical skills for shopping, meal planning, and cooking nutritious meals. Assistance for navigating SNAP benefits is also available through this partnership.
We encourage residents to participate in community service opportunities, providing a sense of purpose and connection. Volunteering for local charities, churches, schools, and agencies fosters a sense of belonging and helps residents build a positive community network.
We partner with local businesses to offer job placement services and support residents in finding employment opportunities. This ensures that residents have a sense of purpose and financial stability. Partnership with the Georgia Mountain Life-recovery Network and North Georgia Technical College for the Skills Rise program and career development skills is beneficial to our residents offering 9 certifications upon completion that include: CPR, First Aide, OSHA, blueprint reading, forklift certification and many others.
We provide transportation to support meetings, appointments, job interviews, and employment if necessary, ensuring that residents maintain their commitments to life-recovery and rebuild their lives.
Our family meetings offer education and emotional support to loved ones of those in life recovery, helping families understand substance misuse, life-recovery processes, support meetings and resources available to the entire family to rebuild healthy relationships.
Regular drug and alcohol screening, house meetings, and house inspections ensure accountability and provide a structure for residents. This promotes a safe environment and encourages residents to stay on track with their life-recovery goals.
We collaborate with local barbers, hairdressers, dentists, licensed professionals, and medical professionals to provide residents with access to personal care services, supporting overall wellness and self-worth.
